October 19th: Is a Veterans Stand Down at Home Depot from 9 to 3. Services available: Help accessing VA Benefits and Services, Employment, Counseling, Social Services, Haircuts, Eye Exams, Health Screenings, Free Showers and lots more. Items available: Non-perishable foods, clothes, blankets, shoes, personal care items, food and refreshments.

October 20th & 21st: Is Artesia’s Annual Craft Fair from 9 to 3 with over 40 vendors with arts and crafts for your early Christmas shopping and bake sale. Located at the Artesia Community Center at 6602 Fox Avenue. Everyone is invited to attend.

October 20th: Our library is hosting a blood drive from 11:30 to 3:30 to schedule your appointment call 877-827-4376 walk ins are welcome also.

October 20th: The Moose Lodge located at 1100 East Second Street is having a white elephant sale from 8 to 4. The public is invited to attend and lunch will be available for purchase from 11:30 to 1.

October 28th: Lee’s Funeral Home is hosting a Blood Drive from 8 to Noon. To schedule your appointment call Kellie at 775-727-1888

October 28th: American Cancer Society is hosting a Bark for Life at Ian Deutch Memorial Park from 10 to 1.. An event celebrating canines as caregivers. There will be a dog walk, costume contest, dog related vendors, K-9 demos, pictures with your pet, snacks and lots more. For more information call 775-419-7857

October 31st: There will be a Trunk N Treat at Petrack Park parking lot starting at 4 PM til the candy is gone. This event is sponsored by the Cast-A-Ways Car Club and the Town of Pahrump. Go by and see the classic cars and grab treats from their trunks.
